While the sun is shining, brighten up your facial care routine with a couple of these detox rituals; they use all-natural ingredients that can be found in your kitchen or fridge, are super fast and easy to complete, and will leave you feeling fresh and refreshed.
LEMON: Squeeze a fair amount of lemon juice into a glass, mix with equal parts water and spread the mix over your face. Lemon is acidic and will dry up any existing blemishes you may have, as well as even out the skin tone of any marks from old blemishes.
HONEY: Honey is one of the best natural antibacterials that our planet has to offer. Simply spread honey all over your face and wash off after 20 or 30 minutes; it cleanses out all foreign dirt and substances from your pores to prevent future pimples.
OLIVE OIL: Olive oil has been known for centuries to even out the skin and create a smooth complexion. Mix a couple spoons of pure virgin olive oil with yogurt and sugar and use the mixture to cleanse; yogurt is also a smoothing agent, and sugar makes the cream a scrub to exfoliate with.
